Sponsorship and Medical Examination

A Canadian citizen or pemanent resident who resides in or is moving to Canada may sponsor his or her spouse, children and parents to enable them to obtain permanent resident visas. The sponsor must undertake to be financially responsible for the relatives. A medical examination of the foreign national is usually required.
