HRDC must approve the work permit

Human Resources Development Canada (HDRC). HDRC will examine whether the job offer might be filled by the existing Canadian labor force before approving the issuance of a work permit.

Work permits fo Live-in caregivers, Nannies or Caregivers for elderly

Work permits are also available to live-in caregivers such as nannies and caretakers for the elderly, who have English or French language skills, graduated high school and have training and experience in the field or occupation for which they seek a work permit.
